Hello. Im trying to find out about Diclofenac Sodium. Because sodium is in the name, does this mean that it contains sodium? I have suffered from Cluster Migraines for over seventeen years. I have been free from them for a little over two years now. I also have high blood pressure that I take medication for everyday. I was recently prescribed Diclofenac Sodium ER 50mg tabs for a knee condition (CPPD). It hasn't even been a week now and I'm starting to have headaches again. I'm trying to do a little research before I speak to the doctor that prescribed this medication to me. I would really like to know if this medication contains high levels of salt sodium- enough to trigger a headache? I think this medication may be causing my headaches to return. Can you help?
