Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello! My 16 year old son was born at 25 weeks gestation and besides numerous other complications suffered from moderate compensated hydrocephalus - never shunted. Recently he had an MRI completed because he has had several episodes of loss of consciousness during vigorous activity. Head MRI revealed "moderate parenchymal volume loss involving the parietal lobes". Also states "numerous prominent vessels, including a large vessel coursing thought the extra-axial space of the right parietal region". Pediatrician says nothing acute so no worries. Thoughts?? Greatly appreciated!!
