Hello, My 98 Year Old Mother Is On A Ventalor

My 98 year old mother is on a ventalor at a lct in miami lakes. Yesterday they did a T-Piece trial for an hour looked good , but the blood gases showed 61% Co2 her last showed 51% while on cpap. They are going to do another test Monday hopefully. The head RT said because of that Co2 she will never be weaned off ......Is that true.
