My brother, 56 years old has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. Our father, died from liver disease. Post autopsy, he was found to have had Alpha-1 Antitrypsin deficiency. Is it possible that the cause of my brother's cancer is Alpha 1? He is pre biopsy for his tumor, 11centimeters, left lobe... Is our father's health history an important component for his health care doctors?
