Hello doctor. Thank you for taking the time with me. I am seeing a Rheum dr. and she has prescribed methotrexate injections once a week, folic acid. plaquenil, leuvocorin for my lupus and r/a. I am also diabetic, have high cholesterol, high blood pressure and the list seems to go on and on. Anyway, I don't know what treats the lupus or r/a out of the 4 she's given me. I've heard from some of her other patients to take turmeric instead. I am in so much pain right now. I saw no difference whether I took these things or not. She doesn't take more than literally 5 mins with me when I see her and takes blood. I don't know anything about what my blood works says. she never does anything other than have me raise my hands. press on my belly and says see you in 3 months. Should I be looking for someone else? She doesn't listen to me about my pain and just says its from my r/a. My thigh bones and forearm bones feel like someone is trying to snap them in half and the muscles in my calves feel like they are at the beginning of Charlie horses and weaken my legs to the point where I sometimes fall thankfully only at home so far and I am at an area that I can catch myself. What do you think?
