Hematoma In The Leg. Tenderness On The Calf Muscle. Occasional Joint Pains. Are These Connected?
I fell 5 weeks ago, resulting in a hematoma just underneath my bum at the top of the hamstring. It has gone down substantially in that time from what was the volume of about a pint glass. However, I have noticed that the whole leg, underneath the hematoma and the calf is a bit tender to the touch. Also occasional joint pain occurs behind the knee of that leg. Could the joint pain be down to the way i have to sit (not putting pressure on the hematoma) And could the initial swelling have moved down the leg to cause the tenderness further down or do these things indicate something more serious? I am 19, male, otherwise healthy.

Hematoma In The Leg. Tenderness On The Calf Muscle. Occasional Joint Pains. Are These Connected?
Hello, Welcome at HCM. I have read details of your question. The old hematoms does not looks to be cause of your calf pain or pain at multiple joints. These may be part of either your previous injury or you should look for other diseases like clot in blood vessels. For this you should consult to your doctor & ask for some investigations (if needed). Hope this will help you. With best wishes.
