Hemorrhoid Still Present After Removing Blood Clots, Bleeding Not Stopped. What To Do?
i 28 years old and weigh 45 kgs. I had a thrombosed hemmeroid lanced yesterday by my doctor and was sent home and told to take panadeine forte for the pain. it has not stopped bleeding , it hurts really bad and the grape sized hemmeroid seems to still be there even after the doctor removed all the blood clots, what should i do?

HI,
If it is hurting too much you can have warm water sitz bath for 20 minutes twice to thrice a day and also can apply a local anaesthetic to that area suc as lignocaine gel that will respond your symptoms. You should visit your physician regarding hemorrhoids to remove the hemorrhoids.
You will be fine after that manures.

Such things do happen after hemorrhoids treatments. However such minor thing like hemorrhoid can be a reason of serious bleeding, I suggest you to visit your doctor. You should have full blood work performed to see how serious is the bleeding. Rectal examination should be also performed to see if this hemorrhoid does not need another surgery.
