Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am a 16 year girl and I've had bad cramps since I can remember. I started off on the pill and it didn't really work, so I went to the doctor asking for something stronger. She gave me the ring, I tried it out and it worked but my mother thought it was too expensive. I than went back to the doctor and decided I would get on the shot. I started that back in May, and it's working great. I haven't had cramps since and I love it, but I've gained about 30 pounds and I'm not sure how I feel about that. My mother thinks I should get off of it. What do you think? And should I get back on the pill or off completely? Will my cramps be worse since I haven't had any in awhile? and will that even help me lose the weight? Thanks.
