Hi. I am a dental surgeon and carried out an intravenous sedation on a patient using hypnovel. The treatment was uneventful, apart from the fact that we had to use twice the normal dose of hypnovel. On questioning the patient he admitted to smoking cannabis recently. Can this explain the need for the increased dose or could it be due alcohol intake or some other reason?
