Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am a pre-med student and I will be taking my MCAT in less than 2 weeks. My mom got me "Anxie-T Stress support" capsules from an organic mother's market. Apparently, they said it helps will anxiety and stress (because I have been crying because of the exam stress) but I noticed that it contains 100mg of GABA, and from my understanding GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter- does this mean my brain is functioning slower? For a lack of a better statement, does this make me stupider/ impede my brain from answering the MCAT questions.
Thank you for your time.
