Hi, I am trying to diagnose a skin irritation on the bottom of my nephew's foot.
It is discolored, kind of brown. I first discovered it last night when my nephew was complaining that his foot was itching but also hurting. I was worried that it is a spider bite. The color was kind of red last night and today the color has changed to a more brown tint. It still itches and hurts very bad when I barely touch it. Please let me know if there is a way to treat it at home or if I need to take him to a doctor. What could this be? I did recall seeing him outside bare footed and am wondering if this is some sort of bad bug or spider bite. We live in Los Angeles, California.
