Hi, I Got Off The Contraceptive Pills 8 Months Ago

Hi, I got off the contraceptive pills 8 months ago and since then I've had hormonal acne problems again- breakouts around my chin and cheeks. I went to see my doctor 2 months ago and got an Epiduo prescribed which actually works, but still it keeps coming back so I was given an advice to start taking hormonal pills to balance out my hormones and hence reduce acne. I got Cerazette, however, I read the side effects and some opinions of women whose acne has got worse or they have started getting new blemishes etc? Is it likely to happen in my case considering I already have acne problems and that it was my doctor's advice? Or would it just help to clear my acne?
