Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I have been told I have a small basal pleural effusion in my right lung. It was detected about three years ago and they said they didn't worry about it because they didn't know what it was. So forget about it. however I have a two x-rays since and it is still present. Just say its fine we wont talk about it but I feel I need to get some explanation other then pretend its not there. I had pneumonia and pluasy just before they discovered that. But I believe it was only in left lung. As cancer is so common in our family. I have a young cousin dying of lung cancer at the moment because the told her the noddle was to small to biopsy. so now it is through her lungs and cant be saved Also my 49 yr old brother died with sarcoidosis and said he had nodules that started around his lung and because left untreated it went to his heart and killed him I would be happy for any ideas I know I sound a worry wort .But don't worry about it without a satisfactory explanation . I am a person who likes to be imformed
