Hi I have spinal stenosis I have had to cervical spine fusion from c4 -c7. It has been several years since last surgery but an on going battle for pain management. Mostly nerve damage and what they have referred to as failed surgeries. I work full time. I am currently trying to find something other than narcotics. I have been on 50 mg amitriptline at bedtime. I've been taking this for years it does seem to help. I've tried neurontin, lyrica ad cymbalta with no success. Today my pop prescribed Effexor. Is this not a good idea given that I'm on the amitriptline? Any suggestions
