Hi. I'm 39, somewhat overweight at 158 with a height of 5'3" (recently lost 20 pounds by diet and exercise), and have had fatigue, brain fog, and short-term memory loss for as long as I can remember. Is there anything I should ask my doctor to test me for? I have had an allergy blood test and not allergic to gluten, dairy, etc. I have had several episodes of what I think is the stomach flu over the last few years so I have had a colonoscopy which showed nothing, and three ultrasounds (pelvic, vaginal, and abdominal) that only showed a fatty liver. They suggested I go on a low carb diet so I did. I removed breads and pastas as well as sugars. I eat protein and vegetables, and a lot of salads. After two weeks of absolutely no energy, I finally had all the energy in the world! Now I'm losing it lol. My brain fog is worse than it has been. My memory is horrible. I am a teacher and it is starting to interfere with my daily activities. I don't know what else to ask my doctor for. She has told me for a long time to lose weight so I did, but I'm starting to feel worse. Thank you for your assistance.
