Hi, I'm an exercise science major so I know my way (and body) around the gym.
My left forearm after a week or two of a heavy cycle (heavy weight and low reps) gets really tight and sometimes after a set of bent over rows I release the weight and what feels to be in myflexor Capri ulnaris is super tight and slowly like a rubber band loosens up over a period of 8-10 seconds. There doesn't seem to be any inflammation nor do I lose strength.
I've pondered tendonitis and used the rice technique minus the compression and elevation. I've taken several two or more weeks off of exercising my forearm muscle group . I've used anti inflammatory drugs to try to ease some of the tightness but nothing seems to work. I take fish oil supplements but i know those are for joints and I don't believe the pain is originating from my elbow joint or wrist.
I'm not expecting anyone to know exactly what's wrong with it, but if anyone can shed some light I'd be much obliged.
