Hi There Dr Rynne,
I thought I would start out Introducing myself first. My name is David and I'm a 28 year old male from Sydney, Australia.
When I have arguments with my wife she tends to know what buttons to really push. Like most women, so I hear. When arguing she turns everything around on me and says some outrageous and hurtful things. I could keep going on but its beside the main point.
When she makes the above comments I get these rushing thoughts of what she has previously said in the argument, I start to shake and I begin saying stuff back to her and by this this time I walk away feeling very angry. The thoughts still are rushing through my head thinking why would she say the things she does and thinking of all the comments she made. When I have eventually calmed down I seem to forget most of the things that she has said to me.
Is it normal what im feeling?
Thanks,
David
