Hi! Why do I cough after drinking water... mostly before going to bed when I drink water and try to sleep.. I can't sleep as the coughing is so irritated that till I don't throw the mucous out it doesn't stop.. sometimes it continues for hours and I just sit on my bed feeling so uncomfortable. I feel as if I will stop breathing.. even during daytime whenever I drink water it happens and it started since 2 months... I am on thyroxin since 2003 as I had total thyroidectomy. need your advice and help...thanks
