Hi, my cat won't eat or drink. I took him to the vet and he stayed with them for a week. They took exrays but could not fin d anything wrong. They gave him fluids a some medicine to increase his appetite. After that I took him home. He started eating again but it only lasted for just four days then he whent back to not eating or drinking. I wen back to the vet and they gave me on syring full of stuff that was suppose to increase his appetite for at least three days but he mainly drooled it all out his mouth. They also gave some medicine for ulcers but I realy don't think that is his problem. They tould me that the next step is exploritory surgery because the don't have an ultrasound machine. I need help. He was a realitively a healthy cat before all this. The one big change before all this was that he had a weird cough and sometimes he would throw up because he would eat too much. I did give him a hairball remedt(hearz) thinkink that was the problem then the next night he ran through the house acting all crazy and panting really hard. After that he hasn't been the same and stop eating or drinking. Also he licks his mouth as if he is nautious. Can you please help? He is going on almost three or four weeks now; I am very scared for him. I raised him on a bottle so he is my baby!
