Hi my name is julie I broke my wrist in 2 places it did not require surgery because the brakes were straight. I went to a doctor and just saw her PA I went again last week and saw him again he put me in a cast the first time halfway up my bicep. Now I'm supposed to stay in this cast for two more weeks three weeks total. Doesn't that seem a little excessive to have a cast so long for a break so small? I'm considering altering his cast to make it go close to the elbow but not over the elbow. What do you think?
