Hi there! Last August, we got our company medical examination and after a week, we were examined with an additional liver examination. My liver checkup is devastating as it showed that I'm positive Hepatitis B carrier. I've gone to a clinic doctor and two hospital with the same advice: Just Observe! I want more than this so I urged my third doctor to get me a medical checkup again. Finally, he told me to have an ultrasound to check for the liver and/or other organs' damage. It turned out that everything's fine nothing serious when he made an ultrasound to me today but I was asked if I wanted a blood test. I agreed as I want to really know second opinion. But my ALT gone from 85 to 632! What's the reason? The first result was conducted by a liver organization here in Taiwan where I recently residing. Also, I'm in a constant diet now eating mostly fruits and vegetables and shying away from foods cooked in vegetable oils. So why is this happening? It's ironic that I'm on a diet now but ALT gone up quickly? I'm drinking green tea daily as it was advised heavily to reduce the risk of getting hepatitis B.
