High Blood Sugar Levels, On Medication, Regular Exercise, No Frequent Urination, No Neuropathy, No Sores. Suggestions?
I just started testing my blood sugar and my current 7 day average is 336. I ve just started taking Metformin and Trilipix as well as going on heavy Omega 3 s and Vitamin D3 . I m 5 9, 184 pounds. I work out 3-5 times a week for at least an hour. I don t have any of the normal symptoms: No increased urination , no neuropathy, no sores, etc. What can you suggest?
Thanks for posting your query.
At the age of 59, patient develops type II diabetes mellitus which generally doesnot manifest in any form of symptoms.
This type of diabetes is generally picked up during routine blood testing and during some complication such as myocardial infarction, stroke, renal failure, GI problems.
Symptoms mentioned by you are features of type I diabetes.
So don't wait for symptoms and continue your medicine as advised by your physician.
Get well soon.
