High Fever, Sore Throat. Suggestions?
I recently had a high fever for 4 days straight, followed by a sore throat with no swelling in the glands or pus in throat. what the hell am I having? The docs I have visited don't know, and I don't want to pay $150.00 on a blood test. I have only had two sexual partners in my life and seeing that most STDs manifest shortly after incubation, and i haven't seen anything in years, i am ruling them out.

Strep throat with fever that too high grade is a characteristic feature of sore throat and causative bacteria are streptococcus.
Same thing is with you.
Hot saline gargles will provide you relief.
As far as concerned about drugs ,you can use levofloxacin 500 mg+Azithromycin 500 mg .
Only five days are sufficient.
