High Temperature. Took Advil. Head, Back, Neck Pain, Sore Throat. Treatment?
Thank you. I am a 58 year old female, currently healthy except extra weight. I have been lethargic for a week but attributed it to a new job and long hours. Today, I woke up cold and could not get warm. When I got home early from work my temp was 102. I had taken two advil @ 8:30 and I got home @ 11:30. I have achy neck and mid back. Headache. Not quite a sore throat. Please advise...
I understand your concerns. High temperature along with head, back and neck pain with a sore throat sound like a viral infection that should be easily treated with adequate rest, plenty of fluids and also symptomatic treatment for the aches and pains. I hope you are doing it enough and if you continue to experience difficulty please consult an ER doctor as soon as possible if your regular doctor's appointment cannot wait.
I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
