Hi...my doctor has precribed to take tufacne20mg one capsule in a day for two m onths, I want to know the possible side effects and the probability of getting my acnes cured. Right now I have mild to severe(as in number) acnes on my face....I am facing this problm since last 8 months. ten months before i shifted to banglore, Karnatka, India from Haryana, India. Before coming to this place i used to have very few pimples. since last 6 months i was getting dem treated from a homeopathic doctor but it didnt work. So i switched to allopathy 15 days ago. Now i am worried about the side effects

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The tablet Tufacne 20 is a brand name of the isotrinoin, for controle and cure of the acne, it's safe, as as other drugs have some side effects like dry skin, and chopped lips.
The main important side effect is the effect on the liver, so in between
liver function tests and lipid profile are to be done. But as it is not common with all you need not stop using it.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods, to have good recovery, and resistance against infections of acne.
