Hip Hurting, Cramping, Uncomfortable While Walking And While Playing Volleyball. Advice To Strengthen Them.
Hi my hips have been hurting for about a year now. I play volleyball and when I get in my defensive position in my right hip area it feels like two bones or something hit each other which makes it very uncomfortable and hard to stay in that position. They cramp up when I sit for 10 or more minutes sometimes less. Today I played volleyball and its very uncomfortable to walk now. Things pop regularly but it hurts when they do, please just let me know what I can do to strengthen them or whatever would help! Thanks.

May be pain in the head of femur, May be pain in ligaments (due to injury ) which keeps femur head fit into socket. Physical examination by an orthopaedic surgeon will find out the reason. Get in blood for C B C , E S R ( infection), calcium. Good luck. Dr. HET
