Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Its very unusual for a fracture clavicle to remain ununited after 3 months. May be its due to the presence of comminution (number of fracture fragments) or inadequate immobilization.

Also, the steroid induced osteoporosis might have contributed to the low healing potential of the bone.

If your fractured area of clavicle is painful and symptomatic leading to restriction of movements, then you may need a surgical intervention.

Consult your treating surgeon and discuss the issues.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
