History Of Taking Klonpin For Seizures. Have ADHD, Liver Damage. Problem With Doctors Not Prescribing Klonpin. Advice

I am having trouble with my psychiatrist. I have taken klonopin for seizures for years .5mg. It works. I also have ADHD and liver damage. He won't prescribe klonopin for seizures and Ritalin for adhd. I can't take most seizure meds due to my liver. Neurologist says klonopin is not a seizure med. I don't have seizure meds, have had a seizure, have not been told not to drive. What now?

I read your query and klonopin is not a single drug to cure seizure but klonopin is used along with seizure medications to prevent seizure that arises due to anxiety ..
You are suggested not to drive because klonpin is a benzodiazipine which creates unawareness of surrounding and absence seizure is not known when it happens, therefore it is strongly adviced not to drive if on medications.

Consult your speciaist in case of repeated seizures .
