hello & welcome
first of all i wanna assure you that dentistry is not so painful, so don't panic to visit a dentist.
as you said that last tooth is totally decayed means there is an infection, & this may cause problem to you.
as far as anterior teeth are related try to preserve them as soon as possible because delay may cause pain & further extensive treatment, this will lead to wastage of money & time.
so please visit to your dentist as soon as possible.
thanks & take care

Dentist Dr. Farah Hussain's  Response
Hi and welcome,
Holes seen in the teeth indicates the presence of dental caries. It is bacterial invasion of the tooth which leads to tooth decay and progresses deeper in the dental tissue if not treated in time.
dont be afraid to visit a dentist as restoring the tooth to its normal condition is not a painful process at all.
your dentist will take x ray of the teeth with decay, accordingly the decayed portion of the tooth is drilled out and the cavities are filled with permanent fillings. If there is deeper infection touching the dental nerves then he treatment option is root canal treatment. i suggest you to visit a dentist as soon as possible before the condition gets worse.
take care.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement Dr. Saurabh Gupta's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query

I suggest you to take physician advice and than visit dentist (oral surgeon). XRay will be taken and based on tooth condition ,it will be decided whether to retain the tooth or to extract.since it's better to get it extracted as the chances of going for infection is more because of food lodgement.

Wishing you good health...
Regards.

Hole on tooth has occured due to dental caries.

A detailed clinical as well as x-ray evaluation is necessary to plan the treatment.

Depending on severity of tooth decay,it has to be restored or extracted.

Please do visit your dentist for further treatment.

Dentist Dr. Qazi Ammara's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

Presence of holes in the tooth indicates presence of dental caries.
I would like to assure you that dental procedures are not painful at all so please dont panic at all.
I would encourage you to visit the Dentist as soon as possible and get the checkup done, the caries from the tooth can be drilled and tooth coloured restoration can be placed, if the caries are deep so root canal treatment can be performed.

Hope this helps out.

hi...
welcome to HCM forum...
please please... visit your dentist and there is nothing to be scared of...
holes in the front upper teeth can be easily filled by tooth colored materials and procedures are not painful at all... so go for it, get back your beautiful smile and be confident about it...
and also get your lower molars filled before its too late to perform any conservative treatment... so please go for it...
take care...
