Home Pregnancy Test Positive, Blood Test Negative. Blood While Urinating. Am I Still Pregnant Or Had Miscarriage?
Hello, I have a question about pregnancy. I am 10-13 days late for my period, have taken 4 home pregnancy tests (reputable brand) and they have all been POSITIVE. I went 3 days later and got my blood work done (yesterday at 3pm), it came back with an hCG level of 3, which I was told means negative / non-pregnant. I just took another (not so reputable brand but all I had) home pregnancy test and it is now NEGATIVE. I have sore breasts and nipples, abdominal cramping, some back pain , excessive tiredness and as of this morning a light hint of blood when I wipe after urinating. I m not sure what all of this means. Is there a possibility I m still pregnant or does this mean I had a miscarriage? Anything else it could be? PLEASE HELP!!!

im really worried about your condition.as you have mentioned early urine pregnancy tests to be positive and later hcg levels were low with negative urine pregnancy test. although miscarriage is a strong possibility ( because you complain of abdominal cramps, back pain & bleeding) but early pregnancy hCG levels can be confusing to interpret.
this could also mean a threatened abortion ( where the baby is still alive). all this will be confirmed only with a ultrasound. treat this as an emergency & consult your obstetrician immediately & till then take complete bed rest.
