dear sir I did unsafe sex with a unknown lady who's working in canteen in the month of April 1st 2011, now I am worry about HIV, so I want to go for tri dot test now can I get exact result or not please give me your valuable suggestions. Please................

Hi it detect antibodies. after 3 year of exposure it mostly give accurate results because most of the times antibodies are developed. However In few case antibodies may not developed yet.and may give false negative result. If want to confirm your result go for confirmatory hiv testing once. you can go with p24 antigen or pcr or 4th generation elisa.
