Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms described by you suggest infection of ear and throat. Since the ear and throat are connected internally, infection of one site can reach the other site.

I suggest you consult an ENT specialist for clinical assessment and antibiotics to treat the probable infection.

In the meanwhile, you can take painkillers for pain and saline gargles for a sore throat.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri,
