How Can severe Leg Pain After A Knee Replacement Be Treated?

I am having leg pains. At first it was like syatic nerve pain that went down the back of my left leg, especially painful in the morning, or after sitting. I had a kidney stone blasted and thought maybe being in the stirrups agrevated it. Now both of my legs hurt so bad by the late afternoon, I can hardly walk. It is an ache in my shins as well as the back of my legs. Turning over in bed is very difficult and painful. I had knee replacement of the left knee one year ago this month.

Hello,

Leg pain may be due to nerve root compression or anemia or electrolyte imbalance or restless leg syndrome or infectious peripheral neuropathy or arthritis pain.

Elevate the limb, use back support while sitting and sleeping, check your hemoglobin status and X-ray lumbar spine.

Use tablet Tramadol with Paracetamol. Tablet Pregabalin.

If symptoms not improved or if you developed an allergy to the above drug please consult your physician immediately he will examine and treat you accordingly.
