How Can severe Numbness In The Foot Be Treated?

About four or five days ago I woke up and the toe next to my big toe on my left foot was numb. It s right at the very end of the toe and I don t notice much swelling or discoloration. The feeling as lasted all day and night since and does not seem to get better or worse. I feel it most while lying down or if I have been sitting a long time. Walking makes it less obvious, but it is still there if I pay attention to it.

Hello,

There is no need to worry, it can be due to the inappropriate size of shoe you are wearing. Moreover, due to over walking and impact with hard object may have caused it. Government can also cause it, but let me know if you have such feeling any other place.

I suggest:
Change shoe and let feet relax for a few days.
If after that numbness continues report to the emergency room for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
