How Can severe Rapid Heart Rate Be Treated?

Hi- I have been having a rapid heart rate for months.. with little to no activity it ranges 84 to 128. I have had both an echo and Holter test that came back normal.. I just recently had a positive ANA 1:160 would that have anything to do with my heart rate? What could it be?

Hello,

Heart rate can increase during physical exertion and anxiety and return to normal spontaneously.

As the Holter and echo are normal, nothing much to worry and no definite treatment is required either.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
