How Can two Swollen Lumps On The Groin Be Treated?

Hi. My 10 year old daughter has had worsening pain in right side of groin over last 3 weeks or so. no trauma, no discoloration. She now has 2 swollen lumps (lymph nodes?) in groin and just above groin. Pain is moderate to severe, constant. right leg is now rotating outward and she refuses to move at most times. I took her to ortho and xrays were done. he recommended a MRI which was done Friday evening. Have not heard anything from this and I am worried because the lumps are getting bigger

Hi,

It could be swelled lymph nodes.

Consult a physician and start on antibiotics.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
