How Can COPD And Chronic Bronchitis Be Treated?
hi Dr. I have lung problems,COPD, with chronic bronchitis. I am on on 2 liters of oxygen Inhalers, etc. I just looked up a medicine called Prolastin. I also have congestive heart failure. Do you think Prolastin would help me?If not, could recommend something that might help me?

Prolastin is alpha 1 proteinase inhibitor drug
It is used when alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency present
So if you don't have alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency than no need intake of it
Second for congestive heart failure diuretic can be prescribed
For bronchitis continue oxygen therapy and if needed bronchodilator drug like ipratropium bromide inhaler can be prescribed
