I AM 65 YRS OLD , I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH COPD IN THE RECENT DAYS, THE DR. PERCRIBED TO ME LOSARTAN POT 50 MG 1X ANDHCTZ TABS 25 MG. I ALSO HAVE HIGH BLLOOD PRESSURE , A SALT FREE DIET HAS BEEN RECOMENDED, CAN YOU HELP ME BY EXPLAINING ALL OF THIS, PLEASE

COPD...means chronic obstructive pulmonary diseas...concerned mainly withasthma/bronchitis causing respiratory difficulty.
You have been given treatment to manage blood pressure.. which is essential .but...
Tretment of obstructive pulmonary disease is of prime importance in COPD... which seems to be totally scipped!
You need a detailed physical examination &needful investigations to assess gravity of your respiratory symptoms by a chest physician &it's specific management.
