How Can C.difficile Infection Be Treated?

my uncle has c diff he has been hospitalized six times they cant get rid of it. he got it from another pt in the hospital which is so sad. anyway....anything new out there...I fear he has a superbug and it is going to kill him. any new meds or other procedures used now...I am a nurse and trying to convince him to go to a bigger hospital in mpls mn. where I used to work.

It is a bacteria found in hospital commonly and in elderly. The treatment is vancomycin metronidazol, fidaxomycine.
