How Can H.Pylori Infection Be Treated?

My daughter has been having diarrhea and throwing up for months now. She was diagnosed with h-pylori infection and told her pancreas is abnormally small and is not functionally normal. She has been treated for the infection for about 10 days now but not really any better. What else might we do to resolve this problem.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If the same patient comes to my OPD I advice him a triple drug therapy for 14 days.

1) Tab.Clarithromycin 2 times a day, 14 days.
2) Tab.Metronidazole 2 times a day, 14 days.
3) Tab.Lansoprazole 2 times a day, 14 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
