Hello,

Helicobacter pylori treatment is through antibiotics, bismuth salicylate and proton pump inhibitor medication like pantoprazole. Antibiotic treatment is taken for about two weeks, usually, clarithromycin, metronidazole, amoxicillin or tetracycline are used (one of them or two in combination), so if you took this treatment you might not need it anymore, pantoprazole may be used for longer.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olsi Taka,
