How Can I Help Myself With Sleep Disturbances And Insomnia After A Head Injury?
I suffered head injury on NYE 2013. 2 wks later I went to the ER due to headaches. MRI and CT scan showed bruising on the brain. For the most part my symptoms seemed to have subsided except for insomnia and sleep disturbances. I wake up often during the night and feel tired during the day. I follow good sleep habits, waking up same time, no bright screens before bed etc. Is there anyway to help me sleep and feel refreshed?
yes your illness is treatable. first try to maintain sleep hygiene like use bed only for sex and sleep. avoid coffee and tee before sleep. do some physical exercises in morning time. go to bed only you feel sleepy. if face problem still then take some meds like mitrazepam , zolpidem, clonazepam it will help you a lot. so don't worry. hope my answer is thankful and helpful to you. take care and have a healthy life.
