Hi, I have been diagnosed with 30% eccentric soft plaque. I exercise about 30-40 minutes a day for 4 - 5 days a week keeping heart rate up around 120-130 bpm for the past 20 years. I am 59 years old. Can I reverse the soft plaque build up? Raj My email address is YYYY@YYYY

Well, 30% is quite something, good that its been caught in the early. I suggest you take immediate actions to revert it, basic things you need to follow for this is to reduce your cholesterol levels. Get your serum Cholesterol levels checked and if its higher than normal i recommend you to start taking statins like Atorvastatin 10-20 mg per day ( consult your physician for exact dose which will be decided based on your cholesterol levels).
