How Can I Stop Severe Itching On Skin?

I am having severe itching on different parts of my body. I want to scratch it until it practically bleeds. I'm also getting white bumps associated with it. it is usually occurring at night. When I'm applying cortizone 10 cream it is helping but returning. What is causing this and what is it?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms of itching skin along with formation of bumps over the surface of skin seems to be Contact DERMATITIS and can occur due to a number of reasons like allergy to washing powder, soaps and skin cosmetics, leather used in belts, Medication, poison ivy etc
You should consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and laboratory investigations like Patch test, RAST test can help in ruling out the allergen and an Immunotherapy can be started to reduce the severity of allergy symptoms..
He can also advise you to take Oral anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Fexofenadine ( Allegra) to relieve the itching..
Continue using cortisone ointment and also can do cold compresses over the bumps..
