Tongue blister under tongue. Looks like a blood blister. But when I pop it it has yellow puss. It almost completely goes away then next day comes back again. Not extremely painful but a little painful enough to get annoying. No fever or nothing. Though their is a lil swelling around the blister. What is it. Is it serious. I don't got insurance would like to avoid expensive doctors visits. Had it for about a month now goes away and comes back
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain blister under the tongue that on lancing produces pus can be due to causes like infection in any of the minor salivary gland in that area while if it is over the gums it can be associated with deep gum infection or tooth related abscess..
So next time if you get such a blister, you should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated who can do a thorough clinical evaluation and x rays if needed and in case of infection you can be advised a course of antibiotics and painkillers for resolution of infection..
