How Can A Bruise On The Buttock After Injury Be Treated?

fell of my horse fractured t-4 and got a huge bruise on my right buttock. walked ok for 5 days and am no longer able to put weight on right leg. can t even use a walker. the pain goes across my lower back, and I cannot even sleep on my back or lift my 20lb dog onto the bed from sitting on my roll around office chair

Hi,

Pain is quite common after a spine fracture. You can take analgesics like Tramadol or Diclofenac for symptomatic relief. The bruises will settle with time without any treatment.

If the symptoms persist you can consult a physiatrist (doctor specialized in pain medicines and rehabilitation) and get evaluated.
