Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear it will take time to recover. Turning of purple while standing may be due to venous insufficiency lead to to popling of unoxygenated blood in the limb.

If you elevate the limb then color may be recover with in few minutes.

also decresed calf muscle pumping in fracture limb may cause venous pooling.

Please consult your treating doctor and he will examine towards the cause and treat you accordingly.

Take care.
