How Can A Gunshot Wound In The Chest Be Treated?

yes my boyfriend was shot in the chest in 2012. and the bullet is just underneath the skin in upper right chest area and keeps getting swollen and creating pain and tiredness. how and where should we go to see about having it removed asap. im afraid his blood could be getting infected by bullet. so worried what should we do????

the bullet, being a foreign body will create an inflammatory reaction in the body.
And yes, there's also the possibility of some toxicity from the lead getting absorbed through the skin.
I'd suggest that you g too your nearest surgical hospital or ER and have it removed.
It's a minor procedure and would be an out patient procedure so you won't need to get admitted.
