Hi,

As long as a baby with congenital heart defect can suck and swallow without cough, difficulty swallowing, regurgitation or vomiting or wheezing(high-pitched whistling sound when you listen over the infants chest or back), then you can feed the baby the same formula that you would give to a baby without congenital heart defect.

(NAN) nestle milk is a good formula for your baby for now. Her physician may change the formula when the baby is 6 months old.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Arnold Zedd,
