How Can A Painful Bump On The Sole Of The Foot Be Treated?
Hi there I have a painful bump on the sole of my left foot that hurts when I put pressure on it. It feels hard and doesn t move around at all. Is it possible I stepped on something and it s become embedded in my foot? I walk around barefoot a lot.
After going through your query I understand your concern.
I would like to tell you that hard, grainy growth or bump that appear on the sole of feet are called Planter wart and can be caused by any number of conditions, including infections, inflammation, tumors or trauma. Depending on the cause, lumps may be single or multiple, soft or firm, painful or painless. They may grow rapidly or may not change in size.
Most plantar warts are harmless and go away without treatment. If your warts are painful or spreading over-the-counter medications or home remedies. Kindly consult with a Physican for further management.
Hope to have been Helpful.
Kind Regards Dr. Navneet Bansal
